This dramatically increases the amount of administration required in order to run alliance-funded activities. As a reseller partner, not only are you balancing your own proposition with the vendor’s, now you’ve got a third party in the mix. For many resellers this can make accessing alliance funding prohibitive: the value is lost in the bureaucracy and enthusiasm is dampened by the prospect of mountains of admin.
